Abstract:
In system (1) comprising a robot (25), a transport device (35) that carries the robot (25) and moves, and a control device, this setting method sets, using a teaching operation, a working posture of the robot (25) and a working location of the transport device (35) in a three-dimensional space formed by a first axis, a second axis, and a third axis as orthogonal axes. The transport device (35) is moved to a predetermined working location, and this working location is stored as a provisional working location. The robot (25) is caused to take a predetermined working posture, and this working posture is stored as a provisional working posture. Next, an action part (29) of the robot (25) is moved along the first axis and the second axis to confirm whether or not the movable amounts thereof exceed the positioning error amounts of the transport device 35 in these directions. When both of the movable amounts exceed the positioning error amounts, the provisional working location is set as a target working location, and the provisional working posture is set as a target working posture.
