Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a shading method, a shading apparatus, and an electronic device. The method comprises: acquiring rendering information of an image, wherein the rendering information comprises a main-scene rendering texture, camera information, model-view-projection (MVP) matrix information of a rendering object, and a user interface (UI) rendering texture; determining a first guidance map according to the main-scene rendering texture, the camera information and the MVP matrix information of the rendering object; determining a second guidance map according to the UI rendering texture; determining a third guidance map according to the first guidance map and the second guidance map; and shading the third guidance map. In the method, a first guidance map and a second guidance map are determined, and the two guidance maps are combined to determine a third guidance map. The third guidance map can accurately identify and mark shading rates of different areas, such that the effect of shading processing, which is completed by means of an electronic device according to the third guidance map, is better, and the rendering performance is further improved.
