Abstract:
This shaping roll (1A) for melt extrusion molding is used in the melt extrusion molding of a thermoplastic resin, and comprises: a roll main-body part (10) which is made of metal, and which has heat-medium passages (11) provided therein; first cylindrical members (12) which cover the surfaces of a central section of the roll main-body part (10); and second cylindrical members (13) which cover the surfaces of both end sections of the roll main-body part (10). The first cylindrical members (12) are manufactured from a first metal material having a thermal conductivity of at least 40 W/m∙K. The second cylindrical members (13) are manufactured from a second metal material having a thermal conductivity of not more than 20 W/m∙K. The first cylindrical members (12) and the second cylindrical members (13) are at least partially joined to each other.
