Abstract:
The present application provides a shelf assembly and a household appliance. The shelf assembly comprises a mounting frame, a fixed shelf, and at least two movable shelves; the at least two movable shelves are separately slidably connected to the mounting frame, and the at least two movable shelves can be changed between an unfolded state and a folded state. When the at least two movable shelves are in the unfolded state, the at least two movable shelves and the fixed shelf are arranged side by side in a first direction; when the at least two movable shelves are in the folded state, the at least two movable shelves are stacked on one side of the fixed shelf in a second direction, wherein the first direction and the second direction are different. According to the present application, by providing at least two movable shelves, a user can select to fold one or more movable shelves according to requirements, so that a requirement for space avoidance for item placement below the shelf assembly can be met, and the area required for item placement above the shelf assembly can also be ensured, thereby improving the freedom of usage of the shelf assembly and providing greater space utilization for the user.
