Abstract:
A shell-shaped dental instrument and a shell-shaped dental appliance set comprising at least one shell-shaped dental instrument. The shell-shaped dental instrument comprises a shell-shaped body (100) provided with a plurality of tooth accommodating cavities; the shell-shaped body (100) is provided with screens (101); each screen (101) comprises a blocking part (102) which is arranged on the lip side face and/or the cheek side face and protrudes in a direction away from teeth and a contact part (103) connected to the blocking part (102); when the shell-shaped dental instrument is worn, the blocking parts (102) are in contact with lip muscles and/or cheek muscles, and at least part of force applied by the lip muscles and/or cheek muscles to the blocking parts (102) is transmitted to the corresponding gingivae (300) by means of the contact parts (103). In the shell-shaped dental instrument, the screens (101) are arranged, so that the problem that the growth of teeth is inhibited by lip muscles and/or cheek muscles in a correction process is avoided, and partial pressure applied by the lip muscles and/or cheek muscles is transmitted to the corresponding gingivae (300) by means of the contact parts, so that the retention force of the shell-shaped dental instrument to the gingivae (300) is increased; the correction effect is improved, and the correction period is shortened.
