Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to achieve a reduction in diameter. A shielded electric cable (10) includes a shield layer (13) enclosing an insulating covering (12), and a sheath (14) enclosing the shield layer (13), wherein: a sleeve (18) encloses an exposed portion of the shield layer (13) which extends in front of the sheath (14), the shield layer (13) being crimped to an outer peripheral surface of the insulating covering (12); a crimped portion (25) of an outer conductor (23) of a shielded terminal (20) is crimped to the sleeve (18) while enclosing the sleeve (18) and a region of the insulating covering (12) rearward of the sleeve (18); an inner peripheral side engaging portion (37) and an outer peripheral side engaging portion (33) are formed in the region of the crimped portion (25) that covers the insulating covering (12); the inner peripheral side engaging portion (37) is positioned further toward the radially inner side of the crimped portion (25) than a region thereof that encloses the sleeve (18); and the outer peripheral side engaging portion (33) engages with the inner peripheral side engaging portion (37) while being accommodated in a recessed portion (31) of an outer peripheral surface of the inner peripheral side engaging portion (37).
