Abstract:
This liquefied hydrogen tank comprises: an inner tank containing liquefied hydrogen; an outer tank enclosing the inner tank; an outer shell enclosing the outer tank; a first heat insulating layer disposed in a first region between the inner tank and the outer tank; and a second heat insulating layer disposed in a second region between the outer tank and the outer shell. The first region is filled with a first gas that is hydrogen gas or helium gas and is under substantially atmospheric pressure or a low vacuum, the second region is filled with a second gas including an inert gas and/or dry air, and in a state in which liquefied hydrogen is contained in the inner tank, the temperature of the outer tank is a prescribed outer tank control temperature that is higher than the condensation point of oxygen and equal to or lower than the atmospheric temperature.
