Abstract:
A shock absorber (A1) comprises: a cylinder (1); a piston (2) inserted so as to be freely movable inside the cylinder (1) and partitioning the inside of the cylinder (1) into an extension-side chamber (L1) and a pressure-side chamber (L2); an extension-side attenuation path (2a) and pressure-side attenuation path (2b) communicating with the extension-side chamber (L1) and pressure-side chamber (L2); a pressure chamber (P) communicating with the extension-side chamber (L1) and pressure-side chamber (L2); and an elastic member (7) partitioning the pressure chamber (P) into a first chamber (P1) that communicates with the extension-side chamber (L1) and a second chamber (P2) that communicates with the pressure-side chamber (L2).
