Abstract:
A shoulder stiffness estimation device (10) is provided with a co-contraction index detection unit (31) and a shoulder stiffness estimation unit (32). The co-contraction index detection unit (31) detects a co-contraction index (IND) for agonist and antagonist skeletal muscles at multiple sites. The shoulder stiffness estimation unit (32) estimates a shoulder stiffness state from the co-contraction index (IND).
