Abstract:
This displacement amount detection device can maintain a function of detecting displacement even when a connection part between a slider that is a linearly displaced and a lever that is displaced in a rotation direction is broken. This displacement amount detection device has: a slider that can be displaced in a linear direction; a lever that converts displacement of the slider in the linear direction to displacement in a rotation direction; a first connection part that connects the slider and the lever; a second connection part that is disposed adjacent to the first connection part and that has a redundant function; and a displacement amount detection unit that generates an output value in accordance with the displacement of the lever in the rotation direction. Accordingly, even when the first connection part is broken, the function of transmitting movement of the slider to the lever is maintained by the second connection part having the redundant function.
