Abstract:
A shovel according to the present invention is provided with: a base carrier that performs a travel motion; an upper revolving body that is installed on the base carrier in a freely revolvable manner; an attachment that includes a boom, an arm, and a bucket attached to the upper revolving body; a guidance device that gives guidance for the manipulation of the attachment; and a display device that displays information about an operation using the attachment, wherein the guidance device displays, on the display device, a plurality of distance instructing units that schematically show relative distances to a target surface in accordance with the width direction of the bucket.
