Abstract:
Provided is a shutter charging device for a focal plane shutter that can obtain a stable charge time and can improve frame speed during continuous imaging. A shutter charging device (1) carries out charging operations for a focal plane shutter device (2) provided with an aperture unit (21) and a front curtain blade (25) and rear curtain blade (24) that can shield the aperture (21). The shutter charging device is provided with a charging member (13) that drives the front curtain blade (25) and the rear curtain blade (24) in a prescribed sequence, a gear unit (40) that includes a drive gear (14) that drives the charging member (13) one sequence by carrying out one rotation and transmits rotation of a DC motor (19) to the charging member (13), and a lock lever (31) that stops the drive gear (14). The lock lever (31) operates so as to stop the drive gear (14) at a prescribed timing within one sequence.
