Abstract:
A method and apparatus for sidelink connection request based on congestion level for establishing a direct connection between wireless devices is provided. A first wireless device triggers a signaling procedure based on a congestion level of at least one carrier, selects a carrier among the at least one carrier, and transmits a message in the signaling procedure on the selected carrier. Upon receiving the message, a second wireless device may perform carrie reselection.
