Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sight light detection device whereby a location of a pupil of a user's eye is accurately detected. [Solution] A sight line detection device (1) comprises a photoreceptor means (22), a light guide means (30), a measurement means (25), and a computation means (25). The photoreceptor means (22) receives light from a user's eye (UE), and generates a photoreception signal according to the intensity of the light. The light guide means (30) guides the light from the eye to the photoreceptor means (22). The measurement means (25) measures the location relation between the light guide means (30) and either the pupil (PU) or the iris (IR) of the eye, on the basis of the photoreception signal. The computation means (25) computes the location of the user's pupil (PU) on the basis of the location relation.
