Abstract:
To provide a CCD sensor where assembly properties are superior and size and costs are easily reduced.
The CCD sensor 11 comprises a sapphire base 12 that sets the bottom surface to be a circuit surface 12a and is mounted onto a wiring board 20, a CCD chip 13 formed on the circuit surface 12a of the sapphire base 12, an optical filter 14 formed on the ceiling surface of the sapphire base 12 in one piece, and a lens 15 arranged ahead of the optical filter 14. Light passing through the lens 15 and the optical filter 14 is transmitted through the sapphire base 12 before reaching the CCD chip 13 for reception. By such a configuration, the sapphire base 12 can be flip-flop mounted to the wiring board 20 and wire bonding can be omitted.
