Abstract:
The present technology pertains to a signal processing device and method with which it is possible to increase the harmonic rejection ratio while minimizing an increase in power consumption. According to one aspect of the present technology, for each differential signal, two local signals having a duty ratio of one third and having phases which are offset from each other by half a period are mixed, and the difference between the results of mixing the two local signals is calculated. The present technology can be applied to, e.g.: a signal processing device; a transmission device; a reception device; a communication device; an electronic instrument provided with a transmission function, a reception function, or a communication function; or a computer, etc., for controlling such devices.
