Provided are a signal sending method and a detection apparatus, which can be used in a sensor, especially in the field of radars, particularly cooperative radars. The method comprises: sending a first signal, the first signal being used for target detection (S701); sending a second signal, the second signal being used for indicating resource information occupied by the first signal (S702); and sending a third signal, resource information occupied by the third signal being determined according to the second signal; the third signal being used for target detection (S703). When a detection signal is sent, the second signal used for indicating resource information occupied by the detection signal is sent, so that a second detection apparatus can select resource information which does not interfere with each other to send the detection signal, which reduces the interference among different detection apparatuses during target detection, and improves the target detection performance.
