Abstract:
A silent generator set for a desert area comprises a machine room (1). The machine room (1) is internally divided into a first muffler room (2), a main engine room (3), and a second muffler room (4). The first muffler room (2) is connected to an air outlet of a dust removing mechanism by a fan. The first muffler room (2) is connected to the main engine room (3) by a ventilation air supply pipe (6) and a combustion air supply pipe (7). A muffler (8) is installed at an inlet end of each of the ventilation air supply pipe (6) and the combustion air supply pipe (7), and a variable frequency axial flow fan (9) is installed at an outlet end of each of the ventilation air supply pipe (6) and the combustion air supply pipe (7). A diesel generator set (10) is disposed in the main engine room (3), an exhaust port of the diesel generator set (10) is connected to the outside of the machine room (1) by an exhaust pipe (11). A vent (12) is disposed between the main engine room (3) and the second muffler room (4). An axial flow fan is installed in the vent (12). An exhaust pipe (13) is disposed at the top of the second muffler room (4). The generator set is capable of filtering air entering the machine room, and is equipped with a muffler room as a buffer. A first buffer room can store air and provide a buffer time, allowing staff to troubleshoot issues as they arise. The muffler room in combination with the muffler in the internal pipe can effectively reduce noise.
