Title:
SILK FIBROIN/MANGANESE DIOXIDE COMPOSITE MICROSPHERE DRUG CARRIER HAVING CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/259489
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A preparation method for a silk fibroin/manganese dioxide composite microsphere drug carrier having a core-shell structure, comprising: (1) adding a water-soluble organic solvent to an aqueous solution of silk fibroin, performing freezing and natural thawing, and removing the solvent to obtain silk fibroin nanospheres; and (2) mixing the obtained silk fibroin nanospheres with potassium permanganate and polyallylamine hydrochloride uniformly, performing incubation, and removing the solvent, so as to obtain a silk fibroin/manganese dioxide composite microsphere drug carrier having a core-shell structure in which the inner layer is silk fibroin and the outer layer is manganese dioxide. The process is simple and easy to operate. The obtained silk fibroin/manganese dioxide complex microsphere has a rough surface, combines excellent properties of silk fibroin and manganese dioxide, has a high drug loading rate, and can be released in a controlled manner in response to the tumor microenvironment, degrade hydrogen peroxide in the tumor environment to generate oxygen, and improve the efficiency of chemical and photodynamic therapy for tumor, having a wide application prospect in the fields of tumor therapy and medicine.
