Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to a method for generating and encoding bits of CSI report. The method comprises determining a maximum supported rank for each of a one or more channel state information (CSI) resource index (CRI); and determining a maximum payload size CSI reporting based, at least in part, on the corresponding supported rank; and calculating a packet length for the CSI reporting based on the determined maximum payload sizes; and encoding the CSI for a selected CRI, based on the corresponding maximum payload size and the calculated packet length, to generate a coded packet.
