Abstract:
Disclosed is a single screw compressor equipped with a regulating mechanism (3) that regulates the compression ratio of a compression chamber (23) within a prescribed range. The regulating mechanism (3) is configured in a manner so as to set the compression ratio of the compression chamber (23) to the minimum compression ratio during at least the activation of a driving mechanism (15).
