Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a sizing agent for inorganic fibers which is able to improve both the effect of reducing the unevenness of adhesion to inorganic fibers and the effect of improving the collectibility of inorganic fibers; inorganic fibers; a method for producing the inorganic fibers; and a composite material. This sizing agent for inorganic fibers is characterized by comprising a resin (A) and a fluorochemical surfactant (B) having a perfluoroalkenyl group in the molecule. The inorganic fibers of the present invention are characterized by having, adherent thereto, the sizing agent for inorganic fibers. This method for producing the inorganic fibers is characterized by comprising a step in which the sizing agent for inorganic fibers is caused to adhere to inorganic fibers. This composite material is characterized by comprising the inorganic fibers and a matrix resin.
