Abstract:
[Problem] Because tapping mechanisms were configured using twist cams and the like in the past, they were noisy and reductions of size and weight thereof were difficult. [Solution] In a skin-beautifying device provided with a head (20) that contacts the skin and a tapping mechanism (30) that taps the skin in contact with the head (20) with a pad (31), the tapping mechanism (30) is provided with a pad (31) at one end, and has: a shaft (35) that projects and retracts the pad (31) from the head (20) by the movement of a piston; an impelling part (36) that impels the shaft (35) in one direction of the piston movement; a wire (37) that applies a force on the shaft (35) in the direction opposing the impelling force of the impelling part (36) when tension is applied; and an actuator (39) that intermittently applies tension on the wire (37). The piston movement is accomplished by the tension on the wire.
