Abstract:
Provided is a skin temperature elevating agent, wherein it is possible to elevate the skin temperature in a more effective manner. Also provided are a cosmetic composition, food, and sundry items which exert a skin temperature elevating effect. Specifically provided is a skin temperature elevating agent comprising the extract of Mentha arvensis var. piperascens, the extract of Salvia sclarea, dihydro-β-ionol, and/or geraniol. As a consequence, the skin temperature elevating agent elevates the temperature on the skin of the cheeks. Moreover, the skin temperature elevating agent comprises the extract of Mentha arvensis var. piperascens, the extract of Juniper berry, and/or 4-methoxystyrene. As a consequence, the skin temperature elevating agent elevates the temperature on the skin of the finger tips. Therefore, the skin temperature elevating agent can elevate skin temperature in a more effective manner. Additionally, the cosmetic composition, food, and sundry items containing said skin temperature elevating agent exert a skin temperature elevating effect.
