Abstract:
This sludge dehydrating agent includes a polymer having a structural unit derived from a cationic monomer, and a structural unit derived from a crosslinkable monomer, wherein the cationic monomer includes: a cationic monomer (a) represented by formula (A); or a cationic monomer (a) represented by formula (A), and a cationic monomer (b) represented by formula (B), and with respect to 100 mol% of the total of monomers (where, exclusive of the crosslinkable monomer) being a constituent unit of the polymer, the amount of the cationic monomer is at least 60 mol%, the amount of the cationic monomer (b) is at most 35 mol%, and the amount of the crosslinkable monomer is 0.001 mol% to 0.025 mol%, and a colloid equivalent value of the polymer satisfies expression (1).
