Abstract:
A personalized, interactive, and flexible sleeping posture correction system is provided for use in a large-area bedding article (100) including a mattress such that sleeping posture related data such as different pressure points and change in the pressure distribution over a sleeping cycle can be measured and processed whilst certain adjustment to one or more parameters of the bedding article (100) in response to an instantaneous sleeping posture of a user is executed either automatically by the present system incorporated with artificial intelligence or by the user according to his/her preference of response action (s). The system also incorporates a sleeping posture image capturing module for capturing the preceding and instantaneous sleeping postures of the user to enhance the accuracy of the posture prediction and provide more information for the user prior to making a response action decision.
