Abstract:
Provided is a socket for inspecting electrical characteristics of devices to be
inspected. A supporting block is provided with a plurality of through holes for
supporting probes. Each of the probes for signal, power supply and grounding is
arranged by being fixed in the through hole on the supporting block, and an electrode terminal,
which is of the device to be inspected and is arranged on one surface of the supporting
block, is electrically connected with a wiring terminal, which is arranged on
the other surface and connected to an inspecting apparatus. A device guide is
integrally or separately arranged with or from the supporting block by being
fixed on the one surface of the supporting block, and the device guide is provided
with an opening having a rectangular planar shape for guiding the device to be
inspected. A centering mechanism arranges the position of the device to be inspected
at the center of the opening of the device guide.
