Embodiments of the present application disclose a software integrity protection and verification method and a device. A protection process comprises: a first apparatus acquiring a first software package, the first software package comprising a first signature made by a first party for a second software package using a first private key; and the first apparatus using a second private key to perform a signing operation on the first software package, and acquiring a third software package comprising a second signature, the first private key being controlled by the first party, and the second private key being controlled by a second party. After the third software package is sent to a second apparatus, a verification process comprises: the second apparatus acquiring the first software package comprising the first signature, the second signature, and the second software package; and the second apparatus respectively authenticating the first signature and the second signature on the basis of a pre-stored first public key and second public key, so as to obtain an authentication result. In this way, the invention achieves software integrity protection by using keys provided by a manufacturer and a user, thereby providing two-level software integrity verification to users, and resolving user trust issues.
