Abstract:
The present invention provides: a solid oxide electrochemical cell which has high output power; and a method for producing a solid oxide electrochemical cell, the method enabling the production of a solid oxide electrochemical cell that has a high output power, while achieving a good balance between high productivity and high quality. A solid oxide electrochemical cell 10 according to the present invention comprises a solid hydrogen electrode 12, a solid electrolyte membrane 14 and a solid oxygen electrode 16. A first surface 12f of the solid hydrogen electrode 12 is provided with: a plurality of first raised parts 12a which are raised toward the solid electrolyte membrane 14; and a first intermediate part 12b which lies between two adjacent first raised parts 12a. The solid electrolyte membrane 14 is provided with: second raised parts 14a which are superposed on the first raised parts 12a; and a second intermediate part 14b which is superposed on the first intermediate part 12b. The solid oxygen electrode 16 is provided with: third raised parts 16a which are superposed on the second raised parts 14a; and a third intermediate part 16b which is superposed on the second intermediate part 14b. The first raised parts 12a have a pitch of 70 to 110 µm. The second intermediate part 14b is in contact with the third intermediate part 16b without a space therebetween.
