This solid-state imaging device comprises: a selection unit that selects data of at least two images as to-be-synthesized image data, from among data of a plurality of images with different sensitivities; and a generation unit that synthesizes the to-be-synthesized image data of the at least two images selected by the selection unit to generate HDR image data with a higher dynamic range than the image data.
