Abstract:
A management device (39) in a parking assistance system (1) comprises: a route generation unit (47A: S22, S36) configured so as to generate a guidance route from a boarding area to a parking area which is a target location; a map provision unit (47B: S23, S28, S37) configured so as to extract a route map representing parking lot map information for sites related to the guidance route, from the parking lot map information prepared in advance and including parking lot pathways, boarding areas, and locations of parking areas, and to provide the route map to a self-driving vehicle; and a route provision unit (47C: S24, S38) configured so as to provide the guidance route to the self-driving vehicle.
