Abstract:
In this solid-state imaging element for detecting the presence or absence of an address event, the time required for AD conversion is reduced when further capturing image data. First pixels which generate a first analog signal by photoelectric conversion and second pixels which generate a second analog signal by photoelectric conversion are arranged in a detection block. A first analog-to-digital converter converts the first analog signal to a digital signal on the basis of whether or not the amount of change in the amount of light incident on the detection block exceeds a prescribed threshold value. A second analog-to-digital converter converts the second analog signal to a digital signal on the basis of whether or not said change amount exceeds a threshold value.
