Abstract:
A sound masking device (100) has an acquisition unit (120), a generation unit (140), and an output control unit (160). The acquisition unit (120) acquires a maskee sound signal, which is a signal of a maskee sound that was inputted to a microphone (200). On the basis of the maskee sound signal, the generation unit (140) generates a reverberation sound signal, which is a signal of a reverberation sound of the maskee sound. The output control unit (160) provides control such that a reverberation sound that is based on the reverberation sound signal is outputted from a speaker (106).
