Abstract:
Provided is a technology in which, if there is a sound signal obtained from a separate code, which is a code differing from a code from which a decoded sound signal has been obtained and which is a code derived from the same sound signal, the decoded sound signal is improved using the sound signal obtained from the separate code. A refined shared signal is generated through signal refinement of a signal (hereinafter referred to as "the decoded sound shared signal") obtained by downmixing a decoded sound signal from each channel, using a monaural decoded sound signal. A refined decoded sound signal is generated for each channel by subtracting a signal obtained by upmixing the decoded sound shared signal from the decoded sound signal and adding a signal obtained by upmixing the refined shared signal.
