Abstract:
The present application provides a space and frequency merging coefficient indication method, and a device The method comprises: a terminal apparatus generating indication information used to indicate amplitude components respectively corresponding to multiple space and frequency merging coefficients, and phase components respectively corresponding to the multiple space and frequency merging coefficients, wherein for one or more of the multiple space and frequency merging coefficients, a bit number corresponding to the phase component of each of the one or more space and frequency merging coefficients is associated with the level at which the size of the amplitude component of the space and frequency merging coefficient is in the multiple space and frequency merging coefficients, and a ratio of the number of space and frequency merging coefficients at each level to the number of the multiple space and frequency merging coefficients is associated with the level; and the terminal apparatus sending the indication information to a network apparatus. The invention enables the phase components of the space and frequency merging coefficients in different levels to have different bit numbers, thereby reducing PMI overheads.
