Abstract:
Provided is a spark plug which can be made more compact while the strength of a groove in a main fitting is ensured. The relationship between the section modulus (Z1) of a first groove end part (353) of a groove (35) in a main fitting (30) of a spark plug (100) and the section modulus (Z2) of a second groove end part (357) of the groove (35) satisfies Z1 ≤ Z2.
