A headphone driver (100) includes a diaphragm (110) supported on a frame (145), and a plate (150) that has an outer periphery (151), the outer periphery (151) being supported on the frame (145). The plate (150) has a space (BS) surrounded by the outer periphery (151) between the plate (150) and the diaphragm (110), an opening (152) is provided at the center of the plate (150), and a distance L between the edge of the opening (152) and the outer periphery (151) is in a range of 8-42 mm.
