Abstract:
Provided are a speech-generation device and the like offering excellent ease of use. A speech-generation device (1) switches operational mode between a normal mode and a prevention mode. A degree-of-urgency is determined with respect to speech-generation information which is acquired from the speech-generation device, a server (3), and/or an external apparatus (electrical apparatus 2) and which is used to generate speech-generation content. If the degree-of-urgency is a predetermined threshold value or higher, then the speech-generation content is generated from the speech-generation information and the speech-generation device is made to generate speech audio, even if the operational mode is the prevention mode.
