Title:
STABILIZING COMPOSITION FOR TETRAHYDROBIOPTERIN, AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING TETRAHYDROBIOPTERIN USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/141553
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a stabilizing composition for tetrahydrobiopterin, comprising dithioerythritol and acid compounds having a pH of 1.5 to 6.5. The present invention also relates to a method for analyzing tetrahydrobiopterin using the stabilizing composition. According to the present invention, low-density tetrahydrobiopterin existing in a sample may be directly analyzed using a mass spectrometer, and such an analysis may be effectively used in the study of unknown physiological and pathological functions of tetrahydrobiopterin.
