Title:
STANDARD SIGNAL GENERATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/093004
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of the accumulation of quantization errors during holdover control, when a reference signal cannot be acquired, in a standard signal generating device provided with a synchronizing circuit which performs control by converting a digital signal into an analogue signal and supplying said analogue signal to a voltage-controlled oscillator, in order to obtain a signal that is synchronized to a reference signal.
[Solution] A standard frequency generating device 10 is provided with a phase synchronization circuit 25 and a control unit 11. The phase synchronization circuit 25 controls a standard signal output by an oscillation unit 27, by means of a control signal obtained on the basis of the reference signal. If it becomes impossible to acquire the reference signal, the control unit 11 controls the oscillation unit 27 by generating a control signal for self-running. The oscillation unit 27 oscillates in accordance with an input discrete value. A digital delta-sigma modulator 15 which modulates the control signal for self-running, from the control unit 11, is disposed downstream of the control unit 11.
