Abstract:
This standby state maintaining device (100) is provided with: a secondary battery (13) which is provided separately from a vehicle battery (2); a temperature sensor (14) for the secondary battery (13); and a control unit (19) which is provided with a first operation mode in which a power saving standby state of an on-vehicle information device (4) is maintained by selectively using the secondary battery (13) or the vehicle battery (2) in accordance with a detection value from the temperature sensor (14), while a start switch (3) of a vehicle (1) is in an off state.
