Abstract:
This standby state maintaining device (100) is provided with: a secondary battery (13) which is provided separately from a vehicle battery (2); a temperature sensor (14) for the secondary battery (13); a charge storage member (15) which deals with charging and discharging at temperatures outside a reference range; and a control unit (21) provided with a first operation mode in which, if a detection value from the temperature sensor (14) is within the reference range, the secondary battery (13) is used to maintain a power saving standby state of an on-vehicle information device (4), while a start switch (3) of a vehicle (1) is in an off state, and, if the detection value is outside the reference range, the charge storage member (15) is used to maintain the power saving standby state.
