Abstract:
Provided is a static electricity eliminating device which is capable of making the amount of light emitted from the light emission surface of a light guide plate more uniform and in which the thickness of the light guide plate is low. A static electricity eliminating device (10) is provided with a light source (11) and a light guide plate (20). The light guide plate (20) is provided with: a light entry surface (20a) via which light from a light source (11) enters; a light reflection surface (20b) comprising a plurality of optical path changing parts (21) that reflect the light entering the light entry surface (20a) by means of reflection surfaces; and a light emission surface that is parallel to the light reflection surface (20b) and emits the light reflected by the optical path changing parts (21), wherein the surface area of the reflection surfaces per unit area of the light reflection surface (20b) differs depending on the distance from the light entry surface (20a).
