Abstract:
It is possible to convert a dynamic page appropriate, for example, for effectively functioning
a search by a search engine on the Internet to a static page. In order to realize
this, it is necessary to register a table defining a correspondence between a
first address where a dynamic page is placed and a second address where a static
page is placed (step S1). According to an arbitrary registered first page, a Web
page is called and converted into a text file, which is stored (step S2). For the
stored text file, a predetermined character string indicating a link to the Web
page is extracted (step S3). For a particular portion of the extracted character
string, a matched first address is searched from the table (step S4). The first
address searched in step S4 is replaced by a corresponding second address (step
S5) The name of the intermediate file replaced is rewritten into the second address
(address after conversion) corresponding to the first address (address before
conversion) called in step S1 and stored (step S7).
