Abstract:
The present invention has the purpose of providing a steam electrolysis cell that achieves high electrical current efficiency and can efficiently produce H2, and a hydrogen producing method using the steam electrolysis cell. The steam electrolysis cell of the present invention has an anode layer and a cathode layer, and a proton-conductive solid electrolyte layer between the anode layer and the cathode layer, the anode layer containing a perovskite oxide including Ba and Co.
