Abstract:
Provided is a steel material having excellent corrosion resistance and hydrogen embrittlement resistance. A steel material according to the present disclosure comprises: 0.15-0.45 mass% of C; 0.01-1.00 mass% of Si; 0.01-1.50 mass% of Mn: at most 0.050 mass% of P; at most 0.050 mass% of S; at most 0.100% of Al; 0.02-0.30 mass% of Sn; at most 0.20 mass% of Cr; 0.010-0.500 mass% of Cu; 0.01-0.50 mass% of Ni; 0.01-0.50 mass% of Mo; 0.0001-0.100 mass% of Ti; a total of 0.0013-0.0065 mass% (exclusive of 0.0065) of at least one selected from the group consisting of Co, Sb, Ge and In; at most 0.010 mass% of N; and at most 0.015 mass% of O, with the balance consisting of Fe and impurities, and satisfies expression (1).
