Abstract:
The steering control device according to the present invention acquires information about the parking position of a vehicle which has been acquired by an outside recognition unit, and outputs, on the basis of the acquired information about the parking position, a command to move the rear part of the vehicle to a set position in a parking width direction, to a rear wheel steering device that controls the steering angle of the rear wheels of the vehicle. It is therefore possible to easily park the vehicle at a specified position in the parking width direction even if the timing or the angle at which a driver operates a steering wheel is not appropriate or the steering angle of front wheels is limited.
