Abstract:
This self-expanding stent comprises: a tubular section; and at least one locking section. The tubular section is a tubular portion that is formed by weaving wires. The locking section has: a first portion formed by a portion of a wire and extending from one connection point with the tubular section to a fold-back point; the fold-back point; and a second portion extending from another connection point with the tubular section to the fold-back point. The locking section protrudes to the outer peripheral side from the tubular section when the stent is expanded. When viewed in the central axis direction of the tubular section, at least a portion of an outer-peripheral-side portion of the locking section exists on the outer peripheral side of an imaginary circle centered on the central axis and passing through the fold-back point of the locking section.
