Abstract:
In the present invention, the response time from when a client computer sends a request for configuration information to a storage system until when the same receives the configuration information is shortened. A storage controller updates a plurality of configuration information items on the basis of control. In accordance with a preset schedule, a server computer sends to the storage controller input information that specifies a configuration information item from among the plurality of configuration information items. On the basis of the input information, the storage controller sends to the server computer output information that includes the configuration information within the storage controller. The server computer receives the output information, and associates the output information with the input information and stores the same. In a case where input information is received from a client computer, the server computer sends to the client computer output information that has been associated with the received input information.
