Abstract:
A streetlight 100 is disposed near an on-street parking area 14. The streetlight 100 comprises: a light fixture 106 that can project, onto a road 10, a parking guidance image that indicates a useable parking space 14a in the on-street parking area 14; and a light fixture control unit 111 that controls the light fixture 106 so that the same projects the parking guidance image onto the road 10 in accordance with a parking request signal from a vehicle travelling near the streetlight 100. The parking guidance image may include an image of an arrow which points from the road 10 to the useable parking space 14a.
